Welcome to lonsdalemedia.net. What’s this site all about?
It is our new Lonsdale Media Blog and Photos site. Not only will this be the location for the Lonsdale Media blog, it’s also a place for me to showcase some of my photos.
Wile being vision impaired, I believe that if you have a passion for something, you should not let any old disability stop you. So, here I am. I'm someone who likes taking photos with a vision impairment.
Although we’ve done much with WordPress this year at Lonsdale Media, recently, we were asked by a client to show them how to create an image gallery for their car repair business. After showing them the differences between post and pages, getting them started on entering text on their new WP site, it came time to play with the default image gallery.
I asked Kim, to find me an image gallery that was easy to use, easy to teach to our clients and wouldn’t degrade the quality of the images in the galleries. Kim turned up the goods and I picked one of her two suggestions. My choice was “NextGEN Gallery”.
So, enjoy these photos of my holidays and trips on this web site and I’ll start blogging here soon.
